Forrest Corral - CFO Print E-mail

Forrest Corral is the Chief Financial Officer of JBRS Capital. In early 2006, he departed Lyon Capital Ventures, a subsidiary of William Lyon Homes to start JBRS Capital, a real estate investment company specializing in the acquisition, disposition and private equity of commercial real estate. During his tenure at LCV he successfully closed over $1.5 Billion or 50 plus real estate transactions over a 7 plus year period - raising over $350M in equity from many institutional clients. He also marshaled the introduction of private equity as an alternative to costly institutional grade equity saving ten of millions of dollars.

More recently, he was responsible for LCV's condominium development projects located in California. He worked with political consultants, land use attorneys and local municipalities in the entitlement stage to successfully created over $900M of value during this process. Prior to joining LCV, Forrest spent four years at CB Richard Ellis in the Facilities Management Division until 1999 where he successfully managed the Washington Mutual facilities account and was in charge of a real estate portfolio of over 5 million sq. ft. with an annual budget of $250M. Prior to CB Richard Ellis in 1997, he worked as a Real Estate Consultant with the E&Y/KL Real Estate Group where he worked with such clients as: Newhall Land and Development Company, Baldwin Homes, Presley Homes, Regis and the Irvine Ranch among others. Forrest graduated from California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accountancy) -1995.

 
Russ DiOrio, VP of Acquisitions and Investor Relations Print E-mail

Russ has an extensive business background ranging from start up firms to Fortune 500 companies. Russ' experience in negotiating and closing global contracts coupled with his real estate investing background provides a perfect combination for locating and closing profitable properties. Utilizing senior level sales and management skills, Russ is able to effectively communicate the Michael Franks story to individual and institutional investors. His abilities have been key in fueling the equity investments needed for our rapid growth. Russ was fortunate to ride the exciting computer industry surge, developing sales teams on a national and international level. As the technology market crashed in 2000, Russ saw an opportunity to begin a new career in real estate investing. He poured his energy into learning all aspects of the industry leading to realization that multi-family properties provide the highest return on a long term basis. Russ is now leading the effort to locate emerging markets, which will bring substantial growth and profits for our investors. By utilizing Fortune 500 experience to develop relationships with large institutional investors, Russ creates the solid foundation of equity funding needed to continue the company's solid growth.

 
Darrell Walsh - Director of Acquisitions Print E-mail

Darrell is a former business entrepreneur and Mortgage Department Manager. He has joined Michael Franks LLC as Director of Acquisitions and his primary directive is to search for and purchase multi-family complexes. Darrell worked as a Mergers & Acquisitions/Business Broker for 5 years, searching for business owners to transfer ownership, to exit business, or make acquisitions to increase business market share or diversify current niche.

 
Tara Tague - Acquisition Analyst Print E-mail

Tara's background involves strong analytical and financial reporting skills in real estate analysis. Her work with real estate giants like KIMCO Realty and her education in the field have developed her ability to maintain organization and excellence even in the face of a challenging work environment. Tara has experience in real estate research, financial modeling, qualifying investments, and preparing operating information. With a degree in business management and her experience in handling multiple properties at once, she is highly qualified to handle a multitude of tasks with the integrity required of her by Michael Franks LLC.

 
Jessica Lauer - Closing Coordinator and Director of Administration Print E-mail

Jessica's background as an office manager and paralegal have been invaluable to her while working with Michael Franks LLC. After graduating from MacCormac College she was quickly recruited by to work for the rapidly growing real estate department at Troutman Sanders, LLP (formerly, Jenkins Gilchrist Parker Chapin), where she participated in one of the largest condominium conversions to ever take place in New York history. After relocating in 2004, Jessica joined international real estate development firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP, where her experience led to highly developed skills in communication, organization, and development. These skills are applied daily at Michael Franks to close transactions and ensure that the firm is always getting the best possible financing product. Jessica's vast knowledge and proficient communication skills make it possible for the company to effectively communicate with the bank and all parties involved.

 
Galina Roytshteyn - Director of Finance and Operations. Print E-mail

Galina Roytshteyn, is Director of Finance and Operations. She oversees all management responsibilities regarding the multi and single family properties in The Michael Franks portfolios.  This includes management of corporate and on-site property management staff, day to day operations, finance, investor compensation and reporting.  Additionally, she is responsible for the general finances of Michael Franks, LLC which include tax compliance, revenue and expense control, and works closely with our Due Diligence team during the acquisition process.

Galina began her career in property management for a Chicago based real estate company. She managed and directed the operations of a large portfolio of residential and commercial units, and homeowner associations.  Galina’s focus on cost control is a key strength in maximizing the investments of Michael Franks.  She possesses the ability to look at any situation and develop a workable plan to achieve the goals and objectives of the company.

Galina earned her BS degree from DePaul University and continues her education in asset and operations management along with ongoing seminars and workshops related to finance.  She directly reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

 
Isiah Stroud - Asset Manager Print E-mail

Isiah Stroud brings more than 20 years of professional experience in accounting and property management to his position as Regional Manager at Assurance Property Management.

Prior to joining Assurance Property Management Isiah functioned as a Senior Asset Manager for The Illinois Housing Authority Development.  He was responsible of overseeing 51 developments, and 4,000 residential units throughout the state of Illinois.  As an Asset Manager he assisted principals and managing agents with capital planning, conducted regulatory audits, prepared management's operating reviews and assessed capital funding and debt services.

Isiah began his career in 1982 as a Financial Analyst with First Chicago (Chase) in the Property Management Division. Throughout his career he has worked for major real estate firms in various key positions.  In 2005 his professional accomplishments lead to the position of General Manager with The Habitat Company. He was responsible for the supervision of  34 staff including seven property managers and the operations of six high rise housing developments consisting of 1,229 units. He managed and coordinated construction contractors of four high rise buildings during Chicago Housing Authority's' Modernization Capital Construction Plan. As a General Manager he was responsible for site contract biding and capital Improvement projects.

Isiah is a Graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Management. He received his Certificate of Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation from the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM).
